Buckinbah Art Show – Conditions of Entry

·        Entry Fee for 1st work $10 – 3 entries for $20

·        Concessions are $5.00 for Art School Student & $2 for School Students

·        Limit of 4 works per artist.

·        Closing dates for entry forms are by close of business and postal services at                  5pm on Friday 9th July. Entry forms will not be accepted beyond this date.

·        All entered artworks are to be delivered to following address by close of                 business and postal services at 5pm on Thursday 15th July.

·        Artworks received after this time on this date will be excluded from the                                   Buckinbah Art Show.

·        Every individual artwork must be suitably and securely packaged with artists              name / postal address / contact phone number detailed clearly on wrapping.              This wrapping must be suitable for returning artwork in as well.

·        Exhibits must be the original work of the Exhibiting artist.

·        Exhibiting Artworks must have completed since 1st September 2009, therefore              not previously shown in the Buckinbah Art Show.

·        Exhibits must be suitably framed and or mounted with D rings and / or wire                firmly attached to screws for secure hanging. Any artwork not deemed suitably              prepared for hanging will be omitted from the exhibition.

·        Each individual piece of artwork must have adhered (sticky labels / glued) or              securely attached to the back of the artwork the following –

* Artist’s Full Name & Phone contact details

* Mailing/Postal Address

* Exhibit Title 

* Section/Category

* For Sale Price

* Medium

* Year Produced

· All transport and Insurance costs to and from and during the exhibition must be met by the Exhibitor. All transport organisation of artworks to be prepared by the Artist.

· It is the responsibility of the artist to collect or arrange for the transport of any unsold (or not hung) artworks.

· Unsold Artworks are not to be collected until after 4pm on the final day of exhibition.

· Purchasers of Sold artworks are to liaise with the Curator as to collection of their acquisition.

· Commissions on Sales will be charged at the rate of 15%

· Whilst all care will be taken, the Buckinbah Art Show Management accepts no responsibility / liability for any damage, loss or breakage of any art item whilst in their care or whilst during transit to and from the exhibition.

· Buckinbah Art Show Management reserves the right to have any entries reproduced in the press. The artist is responsible for ensuring that no relevant copyright laws are infringed.

· Works over 1 metre wide or high cannot be accommodated.
